This January, we celebrated Vasilica, a cherished Macedonian tradition, with our team. The highlight of this celebration was the sharing of the traditional bread, known as “vasilopita,” which holds a hidden coin that symbolizes good luck and prosperity for the finder.
This year, the coin brought smiles and cheers to our colleague Itan, who had the good fortune of finding it! According to tradition, this is a sign that the year ahead will be filled with success, happiness, and great opportunities for him

Vasilica, celebrated on January 14th, marks the Orthodox New Year and is dedicated to Saint Basil the Great. The tradition of the hidden coin in the bread represents blessings and abundance for the upcoming year. Families, friends, and teams come together to enjoy the bread, share their hopes, and spread good wishes.
